Deborah Brown-Pullin built her business on a simple belief: every space has a story, and the right design helps it sell faster, show better, and feel like home. Staging-By Design, her award-winning Savannah staging and design studio, is the newest business to join the Live Like Locals community, and her work is a perfect example of the kind of local talent we love to put in front of our neighbors.
From the Main Line to the Lowcountry
Deborah did not start in design. Originally from the Main Line outside Philadelphia, she spent years in retail management, where she developed a sharp eye for color, texture, and the kind of customer-focused detail that makes people feel something when they walk into a room. She brought that East Coast sophistication south, paired it with a healthy dose of Southern charm, and turned it into a craft.
She is a lifelong learner with training in interior design and construction management. In 2023, she launched Staging-By Design to help homeowners and real estate professionals showcase properties at their very best. What began as a home staging company has since expanded into a full-service design studio, now offering both expert home staging and interior design services throughout Savannah and the Lowcountry.

Credentials That Back Up the Work
Deborah is a Certified Staging Professional, a RESA-PRO designee, and a RESA Instructor, educating Realtors® and brokers on the power of home staging as a marketing and sales strategy. She serves on the Practitioners Committee of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and is an active member of both ASID and the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA). She was also chosen for the inaugural class of Launch Savannah, the city’s program for promising local entrepreneurs. The recognition is nice, but what it really means for clients is simple: the person styling your home is plugged into the highest standards in the industry.
