About me
Empowering confidence through style and community
Dora is a Savannah-based entrepreneur, community advocate, and founder of Sole Of Blaq Pearl, a women’s footwear brand focused on confidence, style, and inclusivity.
Dora Jenkins is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Sole Of Blaq Pearl, LLC, a retail fashion brand created to help women step into confidence with footwear that celebrates style, individuality, and inclusivity.
Through Sole Of Blaq Pearl, Dora blends entrepreneurship, fashion, and storytelling into a brand rooted in empowerment. Her work reflects a deep belief that style can be more than what someone wears. It can be a way to feel seen, valued, and ready to move through the world with confidence.
Dora is also strongly connected to Savannah’s business and cultural community. Through her involvement with the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce, and World Trade Center Savannah, she continues to support local business growth, connect with community leaders, and stay engaged in the city’s evolving entrepreneurial ecosystem.
For Dora, living like a local means celebrating the people, places, culture, and creative energy that make Savannah unique, while helping others discover meaningful experiences and genuine connections throughout the city.

Through community engagement, relationship-building, and authentic storytelling, she wants to amplify Savannah’s culture, charm, and local businesses while encouraging others to explore the city in a more meaningful way.
