912 Community Day & Ribbon Cutting
Port Wentworth is opening the doors to something big. 912 Community Day & Ribbon Cutting celebrates the grand opening of the brand-new VyStar Pavilion and Ghost Pirates Ice Cove at Anchor Park, and the entire 912 is invited.
Join us on Saturday, September 12 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The day kicks off at 11:00 AM with ribbon cuttings at both facilities, officially marking a new chapter for Port Wentworth, Savannah, and the whole Coastal Georgia community.
Then stick around for an action-packed afternoon: live music, family-friendly activities, games, inflatables and bounce houses, crafts, local vendors, food trucks, a mechanical bull, food and beverage deals at concessions, specials at The Frozen Anchor Sports Bar, and Georgia Bulldogs football on the screens.
Over at the Ice Cove you will find public skating (first come, first served), Jr. Ghost Pirates and Sirens exhibitions, figure skating exhibitions, Learn to Play sessions, and more.
Admission is free and open to the public. Whether you are lacing up the skates, catching live music, cheering on the Dawgs, or simply exploring your new neighborhood venues, there is something here for everyone.
