About me
Helping local businesses, creatives, and community members make meaningful connections
Valerie Lavelle is a Community Membership Ambassador with Live Like Locals who loves connecting people, businesses, events, and local creatives across Savannah.
Valerie Lavelle is a former military brat who is proud to have called Savannah home for more than 15 years. As a Community Membership Ambassador with Live Like Locals, she brings a people-first approach to membership services, local business support, and community connection.
After years working in corporate sectors, Valerie is excited to be part of something rooted in uplifting local businesses, events, artisans, and the people who make Savannah such a memorable place to live and visit.
Her connection to the city runs through its creative, theatrical, and wonderfully weird local culture. Valerie is involved with The Baystreet Theatre and Savannah Cabaret, and she loves local favorites like the Savannah Paranormal Museum, Colleagues and Lovers, Club One, Ghosted Savannah, and The Assembly of Phantasms.
Outside of work, Valerie enjoys performing, spending time with her husband, exploring Savannah, and continuing the sacred local quest of finding the best jalapeño margarita in town.
