Live Like Locals Latinos: Our Community Now Speaks Spanish, Too
Live Like Locals has always been built on one simple idea. Show up in person, meet your neighbors, support the businesses around you. Our events have always been open to everyone. But if the invitation only ever goes out in English, it is not really going out to everyone.
So we changed that. Meet Live Like Locals Latinos.
What Live Like Locals Latinos Is
Live Like Locals Latinos is a full Spanish-language extension of the platform. It has its own website at livelikelocalslatinos.com, its own Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts, its own ambassadors, and now its own video series.
Same events. Same local businesses. Same community. The difference is that all of it is written, hosted, and delivered in Spanish by people who actually live here.
This is not a translation project. Running a page through a translator does not make a family feel invited. What makes them feel invited is hearing from someone who sounds like them, who knows the neighborhood, and who will be standing at the event when they walk up. That is the whole point.
Meet the Embajadoras
Three Latina business owners are leading this, and each one already serves this community every day.
- María Solesbee, bilingual REALTOR with eXp Realty. She works with families, first-time buyers, and people relocating to the Savannah area.
- Yanira Salamanca, owner of The Yanira Salamanca Agency with Brightway Insurance. Originally from El Salvador, she handles auto, home, and commercial insurance across Georgia and South Carolina.
- Yeka Sánchez, MBA, founder of Yeka Cargo Connect powered by Armstrong Transport, working in freight and logistics.
They are the faces of the brand, the hosts of the series, and the people our Spanish-speaking neighbors will meet first.
Enlace Latino, the New Spanish-Language Series
The series is called Enlace Latino, which means “Latino Link.” Its promise, in the hosts’ own words, is brindando la información que nuestra comunidad necesita para crecer. Bringing our community the information it needs to grow.
María and Yanira host. The first episode is live now, it runs about four minutes, and a new episode drops every month.
Episode one covers:
- An introduction to the hosts and to what Live Like Locals Latinos is here to do
- A local business feature on Anthony Jaime, an attorney with the Law Offices of Joe Steffen, who offers legal guidance to the Hispanic community in Spanish
- The dates and details for the two community events below

If You Own a Business Here
There is a customer base in this market that most local marketing never speaks to directly. Not because it is hard to reach, but because almost nobody bothers to reach it in the right language.
Live Like Locals Latinos changes that math. A feature on Enlace Latino, a listing in the directory, or a presence at one of our events puts your business in front of families who are actively looking for people they can talk to comfortably. If that is your customer, let’s talk.
Watch the First Episode
The full episode is below. If you have Spanish-speaking friends, family, coworkers, or customers in the Coastal Empire, send it to them. That share is how this grows.
